A 1997 graduate, Michelle was a four-year varsity starter in basketball and softball for the Chiefs.  She also played one year of varsity volleyball.
In basketball, she was a first team All-Central Buckeye Conference selection and played in the district all-star game as a senior.  She helped the 1995-96 squad become the only Bellefontaine girls basketball team to play in the state Final Four.
A standout on the softball diamond as well, Michelle earned honorable mention All-Ohio honors as a sophomore.  She also was named All-CBC first team on two occasions.
Michelle went on to play basketball at Wittenberg University, where she was a two-year starter.  She was named honorable mention All-North Coast Athletic Conference for the 1998-99 season and also made the 1999 NCAC all-tournament team.
