Computer Science Principles (CSP) curriculum is a full-year, entry-level course that introduces high school students to the foundations of modern computing. The course covers a broad range of foundational topics such as programming, algorithms, the Internet, big data, digital privacy and security, and the societal impacts of computing. There are roughly 1 million unfilled job openings in areas related to computer science each year, too many jobs – not enough skilled workers. If you are interested in computers, digital technology, the internet and online business, this course is for you!

At the end of this class you will have the option to take the AP Computer Science Principles Test, for which you will be prepared during the school year. On this test you could earn college credit for the course.
