Robert W Munz

Robert "Butch" Munz was named Bellefontaine High School athlete of the year in 1962.
He lettered two years in football and was co-captain of the team.  He was first team offensive guard two years on the All-Western Buckeye League squad and third team All-Ohio his senior year.
In wrestling, he lettered three years and was co-captain.  He was a member of the school's first ever wrestling team and the first Chieftain to win district honors.
In baseball, he lettered four years and batted .450 as a senior.
At Wittenberg University, he lettered three years in football and was co-captain, receiving all-conference honors as a defensive end.  In 1964, his team was small college national champion.
In wrestling, he lettered four years at Wittenberg and was co-captain.  He was runner-up heavyweight champion in 1964 and 1966 as well as the teams most valuable wrestler in 1966.
