Dave Robinson

Dave Robinson is a 1961 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and a 1965 graduate of Ohio University, where he attended on a football scholarship.
At BHS, he was a two year starter and leading scorer and best free throw shooter in basketball.  He became at the time the third highest scorer in BHS history.  He was first team All-Western Buckeye League both years, all-Ohio honorable mention both years and team captain his senior year.
In football, he was a three-year starter at tailback, all-WBL offense and defense his junior year when the Chieftains won their first outright WBL title.  He was an All-Ohio honorable mention two years, All-American honorable mention his senior year, captain his senior year and leading score two years despite playing only three games due to injury. 
In track, he lettered two years as a sprinter and in baseball two years as a pitcher and first baseman.
At Ohio University he played two years and was starting fullback until and injury ended his career.
