Rick Gildow

A 1972 graduate, Rick played three sports for the Chieftains and earned eight varsity letters.  He was a member of the football, wrestling and track teams while at BHS.
In football, he received three varsity letters.  As a senior, Rick was named first team All-Miami Valley League, first team Southwest District and third team Associated Press All-Ohioan.
As a wrestler for the Chieftains, Rick lettered three times and served as the team captain twice.  He won the MVL heavyweight title and finished third at the sectional tournament during the 1970-71 season.
Rick continues to me a major contributor to the BHS athletic community.  He has been treasurer of the Bellefontaine Boosters Club since 1987, has served as a junior varsity softball coach and assistant baseball coach and is the scorekeeper for the BHS boys and girls basketball teams.
